    WTAJ Visit on Educational

    Mold Newscast

In an effort to minimize concerns, the District is striving for disclosure about an upcoming WTAJ filming. WTAJ contacted the District regarding an educational news segment targeting mold in schools. DuBois School District and Southern Huntingdon County School District were selected for visits. A WTAJ reporter is scheduled for  an on-site interview on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. The filming will most likely occur at the HS/MS with the possibility of a visit to Rockhill elementary school. Students and staff may observe the crew in hallways and some classrooms.

    introduce our new

    Vocational Agriculture Instructor,

    Mrs. Booher

    Mrs. Booher!!

I am excited to be hired as the new Vocational Agriculture Instructor at SHC! I graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 2013 with a B.S. in Agriculture and Extension Education. I am currently in my 6th year of teaching, previously teaching Agriculture Education at East Juniata High School and General Science/Agriculture Education at Forbes Road.  I was a 2009 graduate of Southern Huntingdon County High school, and I am honored to be able to teach in the program where my passion for agriculture education began. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters. My family and I currently raise purebred Hampshire sheep, club lambs, and show cattle.
