Southern Huntingdon County School District is reopening on Monday, September 24, 2018, as a FULL day for students. The High School/Middle School will operate with some temporary classrooms in zones of the building that tested with un-elevated mold spore counts.

Parents and teachers should plan for all District Buildings to open on Monday, September 24, 2018. In the event that Rockhill Elementary is closed a OneCall message will notify the SHC community and the contingency plan will be activated.
I am excited to be hired as the new Vocational Agriculture Instructor at SHC! I graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 2013 with a B.S. in Agriculture and Extension Education. I am currently in my 6th year of teaching, previously teaching Agriculture Education at East Juniata High School and General Science/Agriculture Education at Forbes Road. I was a 2009 graduate of Southern Huntingdon County High school, and I am honored to be able to teach in the program where my passion for agriculture education began. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters. My family and I currently raise purebred Hampshire sheep, club lambs, and show cattle.
SHCSD has developed a school safety hotline. Please call 814-447-5155 and leave a message for any concerns you may have. Someone will promptly return your call after the message has been received.
