Meet the Teacher

Hello! My name is Tammy Steel. I am a Trough Creek Elementary and Tussey Mountain alumni. I graduated from Shippensburg University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Reading Specialist certificate.

I taught third grade at Shade Gap Elementary for the 2019-2020 school year. This is my first year at Spring Farms as a first-grade teacher.

Prior to that I was a substitute teacher at Tussey Mountain for several years. I also was a TSS for 13 years after graduating college. 

In my spare time I love to read, and spend time with my family. I have several grandchildren that keep me very busy.
